Special Needs

Our office is wheel chair accessible, including our examination rooms. Patients who do not transfer easily can have their dental exams done in the comfort of their own wheelchair as well.
We understand that a dental office is filled with sounds, smells, tastes and light that can be extraordinarily disturbing to a child, especially a child with autism or sensory disorders. Our parent discussion becomes a very resourceful tool for us to learn what to filter, delete or add to your child’s first exposure to our office.
As with any patient in our practice, the key to our success is to treat every patient as an individual. We understand the value of being flexible, communicative and caring to all of our patients and their needs.
Dr. Gina Lodolini is also affiliated with Westchester Institute for Human Development (WHID). Along with her team, the mobile dental van visits long term care facilities for children such as Blythedale Children’s Hospital and Sunshine Children’s Home and Rehab Center.
